The weather has finally turned to winter, it is time to hibernate at last.
My garden is confused 2 months out of season I am still picking tomatoes and blueberries, even the odd raspberry. A few daffodils have burst into flower even though they should stay hidden until September.
I am obsessed with cooking and preserving, growing and talking about and eating food, the complexity of flavours, the fragrance of fresh picked herbs, the use of spice. The difference between fresh home grown food straight from the garden and the often limp offerings of a supermarket.
